Required Courses for Graduation

  • Earn 8 Credits in English Language Art 

  • Earn 8 Credits in Social Studies

  • Earn 6 credits in Math

  • Earn 6 credits in Science

  • Earn 2 credits in World Language

  • Earn 2 credits in Arts Education

  • Earn 4 credits in Physical Education

  • Earn 1 credit in Health Education

  • Earn 7 credits in electives

A minimum of 44 course credits are required to graduate from FLA.

Required Exams

The completion and passing score of NY State Regents exams are also required. At FLA, you must pass 4 + 1 (4 core + 1 more)

  • (1) ELA Regents  (Our scholars take the ELA regents starting in 10th Grade)

  • (1) Social Studies Regents

    • Global History 

    • US History 

  • (1) Math Regents

    • Algebra I  

    • Geometry 

    • Algebra II 

  • (1) Science Regents

    • Living Environment

    • Chemistry 

    • Physics 

    • Earth Science

  • + Any additional regents exam
