Admission facts about FLA
Roughly 100-130 scholars get accepted into Fordham Leadership Academy every year.
We are not a screening school. This means there is no exam or interview required for acceptance. ​

Incoming scholars have the opportunity to join Summer engagement courses such as Summer Bridge, Camp F.I.R.E and Early Scholars, which are opportunities to meet their classmates, engage in learning opportunities, participate in field experiences, meet teachers and staff and get a look at the school's vibe. ​​
What we look for

Attendance. We want you in the building with us! Maybe attendance was an issue in Middle School, but High School is a new beginning. Our goal is 95% attendance or above for every scholar.

Mindset. Do you have a growth mindset? Are you ready to challenge yourself to be your very best?

ELA and Math scores- the higher, the better. However, we will support you in your journey wherever that starting point may be.

Students interested in advanced courses. We want you to graduate with college credits and will support your journey in doing so.
